Since 1976 each September has brought thousands together under an enormous parachute umbrella for the Tri Cities third largest event, Christ the King Sausage Fest.  This celebration of family fun and fellowship benefits Christ the King school. Nearly 2000 thousand volunteers turn 3000 pounds of sausage, 9 tons of corn, 200 gallons of sauerkraut, 400 pies, game and food booths, crafts, country stores and markets, raffles, movies, dancing and entertainment into Sausage Fest.
