Chris began painting in watercolors in 1987. Her career as a professional watercolorist began in 1995. She paints in series, exploring many different ways to portray her subject matter. Current series include Harlequins (jesters) which have been included in national watercolor competitions across the United States. Other series include iris, salmon, and Tri-Cities landmarks: six each of Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland.
