Dates: Wednesdays Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28 ; Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26; Nov. 2, 9, 16, 2011. Nov. 16th is a "spare" class day in case we lose a class due to illness or weather.

Suggested watercolor supplies
First week of class, bring with you:
  • paper and pencil
  • scissors
  • roll of 2" wide package tape (to cover and waterproof the watercolor boards we make in class)
  • staple gun and staples -- 5/16" minimum

About supplies. . . .

We'll spend the first session talking about paints, brushes, etc. and why I recommend the supplies listed here. Although most students prefer the suggested supplies, you may want to wait until after the first class to decide what you want to work with.

If you already have supplies, bring them with you!

The cost for basic supplies ordered from Daniel Smith and from Cheap Joe's is about $110 including shipping. If purchasing supplies, consider sharing paints with another student and split the cost.
