After briefly experimenting with oils in 1987, Chris began painting in watercolors. Her career as a professional watercolorist began in 1995. Watercolor’s luminous qualities and the interactions of paint, water, and paper fascinate her. She works both traditionally and experimentally.

      Her Tri-Cities print series will eventually include six prints each of Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland.
