About this painting . . .

   Harlequin II began as an abstract demo painting. The first wash was fantastic--but then I didn't know where to go from there. A few years later I finished Harlequin, and decided I could see a seated figure in those first shapes. My daughter, Amy, is the model for Harlequin II.
